Splash Park

Today we went to the splash park! It was fun ,Noah wouldn't leave my arms for the first 35 minutes, lol. Lesley, Isaac, Sarah, and Jax were there too. It was great, the water was cold, but felt good. They even played at the park.

Learning Time

Each day in the morning, we have a little bit of learning time, not that learning doesn't happen throughout the day, but more of a classroom feel. We usually start with story time, then sing a few songs, a game of Simon says, then we head up to the dining room table to do some workbook, coloring, flashcards, iPad, and game time. Stevie is working on writing his name, letters, letter recognition, letter sounds, and numbers. Ethan is working on colors, shapes, pronunciation of words, and counting. Noah is working on saying words, using a spoon, and his shape sorter. Very busy, some days I focus on 2 or we do a little of each. Either way we are learning in some way and given the opportunity to have a chance to learn.

Summer!!

My last day of work was yesterday and the boys' last day of daycare was today. Once we got home we got in the pool. Stevie and Ethan loved it. Noah not so much, I dipped his feet in and he had a complete melt down.

Mother's Day

For Mother's day, Stephen let me lay in bed until about 9am, it was really nice. The boys got me chocolate and flowers. They even wrote their names. We then headed to church to teach the baptism class, which went well. Uncle Nick came over after we put them down for nap time so we could go get some sushi from Hiro's happy hour, it was very yummy!! Glad I got to get out with the man who made me a mama! We had our popcorn dinner later and watched Mulan- my pick and while we were watching the tornado sirens went off. We then had to stay downstairs for a while, the boys played with flashlights and we talked to them about tornadoes. Stevie kept calling them tormatoes- it was really funny. A wonderful and blessed Mother's Day!!!

Sprinkler Weather

Finally it was sprinkler weather, 95 degrees!! When we got home from daycare the boys got in their swim trunks and had a blast getting wet. Except Noah, he is not a fan of the water yet, in time. It was a great night and can't wait for more days in the sun.
