4th of July in Bettendorf

Today for the 4th we played inside because it was so HOTTTTTT. We played with our toys and played Just Dance again, then we went to Monkey Joes!! It is a place with all these bounce things. Very fun. Stevie said in the car on the way home from it, "Monkey Joes cool, Monkey Joe is fun."  It was really cute. Ethan wasn't a fan of it. He is still too little. We tried for a bit, but he just wasn't having it. The rest of the night, we took it easy and got the boys to bed on time. They had already seen their fair share of fireworks. :)

Watering the flowers with Grandma

Today Stevie helped Grandma water the plants and played Just Dance. Ethan watched and crawled everywhere getting into everything.  During nap time, Walt took me to the club to teach me how to play racquet ball. He is really good and has played for 35 years. I have a lot to learn, but had a blast playing. Later that night after the boys went to bed, we headed to Whitey's to get some yummy ice cream. :) They have a kind called "Camo" where most of the proceeds go to the troops. I usually get that to bring home for Stephen.

1st day in Bettendorf!!

The boys and I drove to Bettendorf, IA last night. They did really well on the car ride since I drove at night. When we got here, they woke up scared and didn't want to sleep. It was a long night, but we woke up and went to the park with Grandpa Walt. It was way too hot, so we mainly played indoors then went to Walmart, and ate at Cappy's bar and grill. We are excited to spend the week with them and look forward to a fun filled week.
