Spaghetti Sauce!

Stevie loves to eat spaghetti and meat sauce! It has become one of his favorites to eat right now. Yum for him!

Stevie and his new jumperoo!

Stevie loves to jump and finally we broke down and bought him a jumperoo a couple weeks ago. He loves it and laughs while he jumps! It is absolutely adorable! We decided to buy a used one at "Once Upon A Child" which has some good stuff at times depending on when you go. At least we got a great deal and it practically looked brand new!!!

Date Night!

Stephen and I finally went on a date night. It has been a long time since we went out. We have decided that we need to try and do a date night at least once or twice a month. Tonight we decided to go to La Mesa, a mexican restaurant here in Omaha. I love this place and even though it is not a fancy place, I wanted to dress up for my love.We had a great night, but didn't stay out too late, since I have been feeling sick this week and was extremely exhausted. But we got some quality time!

Stephen and I decided not to go to a movie.We were so full from dinner, that we decided to walk around and window shop at some stores. We had a blast and found this "Jumbo recliner" that fits us both. So comfortable that I wasn't sure I could get out of it!

Another snowday for Stevie and I. We got a text message from Auntie Julie that they were coming to pick us up to take us to breakfast! And of course they take us to one of our favorite places....Wheatfields!!! If you haven't eaten their, you better go with an empty stomach because their food and desserts rock!!

 Great books, some of Stevie's favorites!

Stevie loves it when we read to him! He gets excited and gives you his full attention. It is amazing at how much you can teach them at this age. I love reading to him aloud and using lots of expression when I read. He goes nuts when my voice changes for the characters. He raises his hands in the air and begins to talk as if he is saying "I love this part." It is really cute. I believe we read him at least 5-6 books a day, which is extremely important for their communication skills, plus reading ROCKS!

Fun time with Daddy!!!

Stephen is the BEST Dad ever!! I could not ask for more from such a loving man! Stevie and him have such a blast together. Stevie loves it when he tickles him with his winter beard! He loves sleeping on Daddy's chest when it comes to nap times, playing on the floor with blocks, and reading books with him. Stephen is a wonderful Dad and it wasn't a shock to me that he would be. He is just a great man all around. I love him to death and I couldn't think of a better man to spend the rest of my life with. I love you, my love, from the bottom of my heart and deep within my soul. You are the BEST!!
