Playing around

While I was making dinner, Stevie and I were playing with....I am not sure what to call it. It is where you put  the ball in at the top and then you watch is going down and figure out which hole it came out of.  Stevie loved it! I try not to bring out all the toys at once because it allows him to see new ones every so often so he doesn't feel like he has the same old toys everyday. (Hopefully that makes sense and you get what I mean!)

Upstream

Barb and Walt were in town for Stevie's birthday so we all went out to dinner for the evening. We went to Upstream. It has some good food, but of course everything that I wanted I couldn't have which is the crab legs and shrimp. Pregnant women are only allowed to have about 6oz a week (due to the mercury levels in seafood) and I had quite a bit the night before, so I couldn't eat anymore. Stevie's and this pregnancy have both caused me to crave crab legs. Talking about it is making me want them now! (lol) Dinner was fun, Sydney and Nick were there also. Stevie did really good, he usually does in restaurants, but none of the pictures turned out of him so that is why there are none of him. Bummer. But a fun night with fam!!

Stevie's First Birthday Party!!!

Today was Stevie's first Birthday party!! Many friends and family came. We opened many presents and had cake and ice cream. Stevie had a blast and wasn't too sure about all of the attention when everyone started singing "Happy Birthday" to him. He was looking at everyone and kind of unsure of what to think. He enjoyed the cake since he has never had anything that sweet. He also got many presents which included a truck, guitar, a toddler swing, and many more. I believe his favorite part was eating the cupcake and playing with the party balloons. He can't seem to get enough fun out of those darn balloons! The best dollar I ever spent.
The invitations we sent out to family!

The yummy cupcake cake!
Some of the gifts that Stevie got! He certainly got a lot!

Happy Birthday Stevie!
Not too sure on what it is... but I think its good.

Steive's First Birthday!!!

Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to My Stevie! Happy Birthday to You!! Today started off with Stevie being on the news for "First Birthdays" and then he went to daycare. He brought treats for breakfast, bagels and strawberry cream cheese (a fav of Stevie's). They sang him Happy Birthday and he received books from Jessica (his daycare teacher). We played when we got home and practiced taking steps, (yep, we are taking a few steps here and there)!! We ate dinner together and then headed off to bed. A nice quiet night with the family and this Saturday we will have his party! Can't wait!
I can't believe it has already been a year, it goes too fast! My little baby boy is getting so big. I pray that he have many more wonderful years to come! Can't wait to make many more memories with him. God love him, he is the best. Thank you Lord for sending me an angel!

Stevie has been taking some steps this past week!

On the News!!

16 weeks

Well, I started my 16th week yesterday and the bump is already showing. Which is expected when you have your second one especially since I just had my son 1 year ago today! Here is whats' going on with the baby this week:

At 16 weeks pregnant, your baby weighs around 3.5 ounces, or roughly the size of a mango. In the upcoming weeks, your baby will double his or her weight and grow several inches from crown to rump!

Your baby can now make faces! Your little one's facial muscles have developed to the point where he or she can make certain faces, such as grimacing and frowning, but your baby has no control over these expressions.

During pregnancy week 16, your baby's fingers are distinct and separate from the others. However, the fingers remain rather short. Your little one has more control over his hands and can even suck his thumb!

Your baby's toes are getting longer this week. The arch of your little one's feet are starting to take shape.
