A while back I filled out an application for the Mickelson ExxonMobil Teachers Academy for Math and Science, in March they contacted me letting me know that I had been selected to go!!! I left on July 22 and returned July 27 in the evening. It was an amazing conference and all expenses were paid for! My Mom and Aunt Georgia went too. So after I finished the conference during the day, we would go out in the city. It was pretty amazing!
The first night I had a dinner reception with everyone that got selected, then a few of us headed out to the city to see the Empire State Building.
