At the hospital...again..this time Children's Hospital

Well, Wednesday afternoon Ethan developed a fever of 100.9. Not good, so I called the doctor and was able to get an appointment within 30 minutes. We got there and his temp. went up to 101.7 and we were instructed to take him to Children's Hospital. It was really hard for me and him. I was crying and felt completely responsible because I just had pneumonia and thought that I had given it to him. When we got there they wanted to do a spinal tap right away with an iv and start antibiotics. They also did a chest x-ray and lots of blood work. They thought he also look pretty yellow and were possibly going to have to do the jaundice lights, but that wasn't needed after a while. After all the tests they confirmed it was viral Meningitis. He ran a fever for a long time and finally, Thursday afternoon, it broke to 100.0 and we had hoped it would stay that way. So far so good and today we left the hospital. I didn't take too many pictures until the last day, it has been a rough week for us. He does have an appointment tomorrow to see how he is doing and then hopefully no more fevers for a long time. God certainly answered our prayers and we also had a lot of people praying for him, we are truly blessed. Thank the Lord for our son, Ethan and we continue to pray that he grows strong and healthy.
